About SPECTRAQUA – Global Aquarium Equipment Innovator

SPECTRAQUA is a professional aquarium equipment manufacturer with over a decade of experience in research, design, and production. Formerly known as SPECTRA, our brand has built a solid reputation among aquarium enthusiasts worldwide. Due to trademark registration adjustments, we are now SPECTRAQUA — a name that continues our legacy of innovation and quality.

Our Expertise

We are not just manufacturers — we are aquarists ourselves. Our team keeps and studies various aquatic species, enabling us to design products with real-world performance in mind.
As a professional OEM factory, we handle the entire process from concept design to production in-house, backed by a team of skilled engineers.
We also maintain strong collaborations with coral and marine fish breeding bases in both domestic and international markets, giving us deep insights into aquarium needs and trends.

For more than 10 years, our dedicated team has been developing high-quality aquarium products that meet the needs of hobbyists and professionals alike.
Our AQUAKNIGHT series of aquarium lights, released in three generations, has received widespread praise and remains one of our best-selling product lines.
Our flagship high-end product — AQUAHELIOS M018, a WiFi-controlled smart aquarium light — is regarded by many aquarists as a classic, enjoying years of strong sales and an enduring reputation.
In addition to our own brand, we also serve as an OEM manufacturer for numerous internationally renowned aquarium brands. While we cannot disclose their names, their trust and long-term cooperation have further strengthened our expertise in the industry.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your product warranty policy?

Our standard warranty policy for aquarium lights is 1 year from the date of purchase.
Within the warranty period, if the product has a quality-related issue, we offer a full refund or replacement — except in cases caused by intentional damage, unauthorized disassembly, or water ingress during use.
For consumable items such as filter media and other filtration supplies, returns or exchanges are not accepted once the packaging is opened. If the product remains unopened and in resalable condition, we will accept returns or exchanges.
After the warranty period, we provide lifetime free technical support. If replacement parts are required, we only charge for the cost of the parts and provide free repair guidance.

Aquarium equipment operates in a humid environment, and saltwater has even stronger corrosive effects. To ensure long-term performance, we recommend the following:

  1. Prevent water splashes on aquarium lights – Based on our years of after-sales analysis, over 95% of failures are caused by water ingress. Most cases are due to water splashes, or the light accidentally falling into the water.
    • Always install the light at a safe height above the water.
    • Make sure the mounting brackets and screws are securely tightened.
  2. Perform regular cleaning – Over time, salt deposits from evaporated seawater and dust can accumulate on the fan air inlets and lamp covers. Gently clean these areas to maintain airflow and lighting efficiency.
  3. Maintain filtration consumables – Filter media, filter bags, and filter pads can easily become clogged. A blocked filter bag may cause water overflow accidents.
    • Clean them regularly to ensure proper water flow.

Following these guidelines will help extend the lifespan of your equipment and ensure safe operation.

We offer OEM and ODM services for aquarium lighting, filtration systems, and related equipment.
